Our Review

“Chained” presents an unnerving and intense exploration into human wickedness and the instinct for survival. Directed by Jennifer Lynch, this psychological thriller confronts the horrors of its story head-on. Vincent D’Onofrio gives a haunting, layered performance as Bob, creating a formidable villain. The film moves at a carefully measured pace, heightening the suspense and unease effectively. While not for the squeamish, owing to its graphic and dark content, “Chained” distinguishes itself with psychological intricacy, robust performances, and courageous storytelling. It’s a compelling, albeit disconcerting, film that makes a strong impression.
